Migrating their way back to the United States, we are happy to introduce these lovable, must-have, collectible, hand-carved wooden DCUKsTM, originally from the United Kingdom.
These little guys and gals are hand-crafted in Indonesia of sustainable bamboo root and reclaimed teak wood. The ducklings have quacked their way back across the pond and into Lauralee Gifts at Tryon Village. Because they are hand-made, each duckling is unique, with its own name and personality. No two ducklings are exactly alike. Each ducking wears colored polka dot wellie rain boots.
Finished with three coats of polyurethane, DCUKs are happy either indoors, bonding with the family, or outside, enjoying the garden. They’ll weather a bit outdoors, but that only adds to their personality. If used outdoors, DCUKs periodically need a coat of exterior varnish or furniture oil (take special care of the joints, feet and legs).
DCUKs come in a variety of poses and with a variety of names. Each duckling includes a fun, randomly chosen name tag to add a personal touch.
